Creative Player is pleased to announce an expanded winter program for 2006 to include an advanced level academy for classic and premier level players.  There are now more opportunities than ever to train with Creative Player in the off-season.  The Creative Player SKILLS Mastery, Lethal Shooting, and Lightning Speed Programs are now expanded from six to eight weeks without increasing the cost to our participants.  As always Creative Player is looking to offer quality soccer education at a reasonable price with the goal of producing players who possess technical skill and tactical insight for the modern game.  Please review the following program descriptions and select from the offerings listed below.  We look forward to seeing you on the field.

Creative Player Winter Program Descriptions:

Creative Player SKILLS Mastery Program (recreation and challenge level players)

The Creative Player SKILLS mastery program is a leading youth soccer learning system featuring six key developmental areas: skillful footwork; killer moves; instinctive passing; lethal shooting; lightning speed; and strategic games.  Participants will be introduced to the core curriculum that dramatically improves the technical quality and tactical understanding of young emerging players.

Creative Player SKILLS Advanced Academy  (classic and premier level players)

The Creative Player Advanced Academy is for classic and premier level players who are looking for a highly challenging and competitive training experience.  The Advanced Academy puts individual Creative Player SKILLS to the ultimate test within highly competive strategic game formats.  Players will be challenged to master the art of principles of attack and defense within 1 v 1; 1 v 1 + 1; 2 v 2; 3 v 3; and small-sided game formats.  The goal of the Creative Player SKILLS Advanced Academy is to produce players with exceptional technique and tactical understanding for the modern game.

Creative Player Lethal Shooting Program (challenge and classic players)  

The Creative Player Lethal Shooting Program is a highy popular training program for challenge and classic level players teaching the fine art of finishing.  Participants are introduced to every aspect shooting technique and scoring goals from different angles and distances with deadly accuracy.  The following topics will be covered: Shooting within the six; Shooting over a distance; Shooting off a cross; Breakaways; Heading; and Volleying.  In addition, players will put their shooting skills to test in competitive small-sided games with emphasis on shooting and scoring goals! 

Creative Player SKILLS Lightning Speed Program

The Creative Player lightning Speed program features the SPARCS curriculum covering the following key components:  Speed - Plyometrics - Agility - Resistance; Coordination; and Strength Training.  The focus of the program is developing proper running technique for straight ahead speed and lateral speed and agility.  Special attention is given to correct posture, arm action, and leg action.  Participants are also introduce to basic strength conditioning exercises that will improve explosive power and speed of start.

Creative Player X Games Format

The Creative Player X Games Format is a highly succesful training program that combines Creative Player SKILLS with variations of the Dutch 4 v 4 method.  Participants rehearse skillful footwork; killer moves; instinctive passing; and lethal shooting then apply those skills in competitive small-sided games designed to challenge each specific technique.  Variations of the Dutch 4 v 4 method include: 4 v 4 basic form (skillful footwork); 4 v 4 line soccer (killer moves); 4 v 4 with 4 small goals (instinctive passing); 4 v 4 with 2 large goals (lethal shooting).  The Creative Player X Games is perfect combination of technique with tactics for the development of modern players.
