The Steele Creek U11 Boys Fire went unbeaten in the Charlotte Area Youth Soccer League this fall posting a 7-0-1 record in the Boys Gold Division. The team coached by Robert King and trained by Creative Player Technical Director Ralph Wager scored 35 goals while holding the opposition to just 5. The team celebrated the end of the fall season by winning the FCCA Fall Challenge Classic Tournament by defeating Triangle Futbol Club in the championship match 2-0 at Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC on November 11th. Ralph Wager is very pleased with the work ethic and dedication the Fire have in learning and playing the game at a high level. Coach King is excited about the steady progress the Fire have made since their U9 season, "Much of our progress can be attributed to the Creative Player training received over the past several seasons." The U11 Boys Fire will put their Creative Player SKILLS to test this spring as they will move to NCYSA classic soccer. Congratulations to coach King and his SCAA U11 Boys Fire on a great season!!!
